Hey, bender:

I know a server that is just like the tp la: the THC server. he has let me use it for practice with Toxic. The IP is 70.63.44.66:27960. I am sure that he would let us use it for practice, but I will ask him to make sure and see if we could use it.

THC server has the same F4A mod, grapple enabled with /g_grappelspeed 1775 (same as La) and has decoys and guant thawing enabled. The only bad part is (it's not NECESSARILY bad) that there are a lot of maps that people may not have, so they should download them. You can download them by turning on your autodownlaod, or download them unzipped to your baseq3 at this the THC site. it's at ww w. theheadshotclan .co .nr/ [it wont let me have a link in... sry]. (Just click on the link on the left side called 70.63.44.66 maps). Also, there aren't very many people that go there (other than me and occasionally my brother, COA Scorpy), so we could unofficially go there and who would care.

Other than that, it's the same ol' stuff. I will talk to UFO about it and see what he has to say.

Right, smart thinkin Noodley, I'll talk to UFO since hes mah bud and see if he would give us a slot of time. We'll sort out what time/date it has to be if he lets us have one.

we all need the prasctise with al the wars i keep being asked about anywas Shocked

i might need a few step by step help on what maps i should download from the site ( all of them?) and also
where the fuck is my baseQ3 kept?

Yup, will do, I private messaged UFO on THC's forum about it, he should respond soon enough. Oh and whoever that was wondering where the baseq3 was...

1. Open My Computer

2. Go into the C drive

3. Open Program Files

4. Open Quake 3 Arena

5. It should be at the very top, a folder just titled "baseq3"

K I just got a PM from UFO saying that we'll have to wait because the server isn't specifically his, he said to leave the topic with him and he'll ask whoever it belongs to, so for now we must wait. Smile

Gen, the ones that you should download... well, if you have the space, get 'em all! go through the map cycle on the THC server to see which ones the server actually has. outtta all the other ones, just delete em from ur baseq3. that's what i did, anyways...

when u say you practise- how?
can u create an offline skirmish server with railguns only or anythin?

i sometimes do that /devmapxxx then just put on all ammo nd god mode, just killin tankjrs- not very challenging tho
